We are a leading project development firm specializing in real estate, industrial and infrastructure projects across Africa and the Middle East.

The Beginnings

In 2002, we began as pioneers in infrastructure development with a multi-disciplined approach under one entity: positioning ourselves as a one- stop firm for our sovereign, sub- sovereign, private clients, and multilateral development banks pursuing a turnkey solution for the development of their projects.
2008

The Evolution

In 2008, we applied the same services we offer our clients to ourselves, evolving to encompass the development of EQ’s very own real estate, industrial and infrastructure projects, ranging from economical to high-end developments.

Kwame has over 40 years’ combined experience as a Merchant, Consultant, Business Executive and Project Management Expert. Through his vision and hard work, EQ Ghana has gained recognition for quality delivery and as an excellent service provider. As a master of his areas of expertise, he has created the opportunity for EQ Ghana to grow in a highly competitive business environment. Mr. Philips has a wide business network not just in Ghana but spread across the globe.

Emmanuel Asare Asante

Director – Ghana

Biography
Emmanuel is the operational manager of EQ Ghana, his responsibilities include Business Development and overseeing daily operations in EQ Ghana office.

Emmanuel holds Master of Public Administration, (MPA) from the University of Ghana, Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Global Leadership from the University of Professional Studies, Accra-Ghana, and B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Ghana.

Caroline Chema Eric

Caroline is a highly skilled and experienced Public-Private Partnership (PPP) specialist who has a deep understanding of infrastructure investment and development projects. With over 10 years of experience in PPP and Project Finance Advisory, she has successfully delivered large-scale transformative projects and played a key role in the resource mobilization for investment projects and capacity building initiatives.

As a Certified Public Private Partnership (PPP) Specialist and CP3P accredited PPP Trainer, Caroline has a unique combination of legal and finance skills, which enables her to structure and implement PPP programs that promote blended financing modalities. She is committed to delivering exceptional results to her clients, with tailored PPP training for capacity building.

Caroline’s expertise in financial viability analysis, legal compliance, negotiation, and contracting are essential to the success of PPP projects. She has a sharp eye for identifying potential risks and developing risk mitigation strategies to manage financial, legal, operational, and reputational risks associated with PPP projects. Her monitoring and evaluation skills ensure that PPP projects deliver expected benefits to both the public and private sectors.

In addition to her technical skills, Caroline has high-level written and oral presentation skills in English and Swahili, outstanding project and team management skills, and strong data analysis skills. Having worked with renowned organizations such as KPMG, GIZ, and WaterAid, she has a deep understanding of development projects and management of multistakeholder projects. She consults for multilateral development institutions, such as the World Bank, IFC, African Development Bank, as well as various development partners, including EU, UNDCF, UNIDO, GIZ, BORDA, and private sector clients.

Sebulon Ashipala brings a wealth of experience in leadership and strategic growth. With a background in Management of Information Systems, Sebulon worked extensively in the Namibian banking sector, where he gained deep insights into operations and technology-driven management.

His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a successful holding company that operates across multiple industries in Namibia, including Oil & Gas, commodity trade, and Biomass. Under his leadership, the company has forged numerous strategic partnerships, contributing to its growth and success.

Sebulon’s expertise in navigating complex markets and his focus on fostering innovation and collaboration have positioned the company as a key player in the industry. His leadership is instrumental in driving the organization’s vision and ensuring sustainable growth across its diverse business operations.

Hammad Shalfawi

Hamad Zeyad Shalfawi is an accomplished professional in the field of architecture and construction, with a proven track record of success.

Hammad holds a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from the German Jordanian University and has been working in the industry since 2012. He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Degree in Construction Management from the University of California Berkeley, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

His career in Germany and the United Arab Emirates has gained him extensive experience in realizing high-end real estate projects projects, managing budgets of over 200 million and completing more than 20 iconic projects.

Ali Nabbouh an architect passionate about design and architecture for over three years. He’s worked on projects in Australia and Lebanon, gaining diverse experience from urban study, concept to shop drawings. Ali’s knack for 3D visualization and his push towards becoming a BIM expert showcase his commitment to learning and expanding his expertise. Beyond architecture, Ali is also a dedicated designer. His journey in architecture has been driven by a passion for creativity, continuous growth, and the pursuit of becoming a leading BIM expert.

Andrea Stucchi

Consultant

Biography
Andrea Stucchi is a Solicitor admitted to practice in England & Wales and a Public Private Partnerships (PPP) professional with an academic background in English Common Law.

Andrea started his career working for leading international law firms Clifford Chance LLP and Ashurst LLP before specializing in international development and PPPs. He has recently advised The World Bank on a DFID funded infrastructure PPP program in Eastern Africa and the African Legal Support Facility on an African Development Bank financed infrastructure PPP Program in Western Africa.

He was selected by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) as part of an international team of experts where he contributed, in furtherance of the UN-Sustainable Development Goals, to the development of UNECE’s Model Law for People First PPPs.

Andrea has a leadership role at The World Association of PPP Units & Professionals (WAPPP) in Geneva where he is part of WAPPP’s Steering Committee and Chair of WAPPP’s European Chapter. He has worked for governments and private sector infrastructure investment clients.

Amandeep Singh

Amandeep is a leading international PPP transaction advisor with over 21 years of experience. He has played multiple roles in value chain of PPP projects from ‘concept-to-commissioning’ as well as project monitoring support. His expertise covers formulation of PPP regulatory framework; project screening & prioritization; feasibility studies/business cases; PPP transactions through to financial close and capacity building.

Amandeep has steered more than 60 PPP projects/programs across different sectors viz-a-viz transport, healthcare, renewable energy, education, accommodation, solid waste management, water supply & sanitation, tourism, agriculture and sports infrastructure.

Amandeep has consistently excelled at focusing on sustainable development and pro-people interventions through PPPs. He has served as PPP Advisor to various governments in the developing economies and is passionate about the knowledge transfer.

Ahmad Al Khalil

A bilingual lawyer with 20+ years’ experience in both contentious and non-contentious spheres, Ahmad has wide experience with both pedigree law firms and Multinational Corporations. His practice expertise includes a variety of areas including M&A / corporate law, technology, employment, criminal claims and real estate in the GCC and the Levant areas. Ahmad is also a graduate of Laws from the University of Bristol and has completed an MBA from NYIT.
